CG’s new Glitter Crackles!
I grabbed Gleam Me Up and Luminous Lavender
Oooh, shiny!
I collect nail polish and make up. I take pictures of my food before eating it. I change nail art every week. I'm graduating this semester. I'm very lazy. I like Korean stuff. Sleep is my best friend.
China Glaze’s new Prismatic collection!! Chrome glitter extravaganza!
I got Ray-Diant (thumb), Polarized (middle and pinky fingers), and Optical Illusion (pointer and ring fingers)
The other three I have not purchased are Liquid Crystal, Prism, and Full Spectrum.
Initially I thought Ray-Diant and Polarized were the same. They look the same in the bottle. Polarized however is much more silver than Ray-Diant that has a more clear base. Optical Illusion has a blue base and has the same minute and round glitters as the other two mentioned.
Liquid Crystal has a darker blue base than Optical Illusion. Prism is a light lavender base, and Full Spectrum has a pale lavender base. All of them are of course glitterfied!
“Girl on Fire” Nails
I went to the premier this morning in my HG shirt, a la Effie make-up and accessories, and my “Girl on Fire” nails. I used Smokes and Ashes as the base color, a neon yellow and Riveting as the flames, and Electrify as the embers that were flying off the flames. The three named colors are all from the Capitol Colors Hunger Games collection by China Glaze.
Happy Hunger Games!
“Goldie”
Jumping on the new trend of barely there nail polish style, I decided to play it up a little bit with one of a girl’s best friend: GLITTER. I couldn’t stay far away from color or bling so I had to add something that popped. It’s a gradation style with a nude glittery base, a more glittery second color on half of the nail and the big glitters at the tip.
It’s elegant, simple, and in-style right now (the nude, barely there manicure style, that is). Find something similar in your arsenal and you’ll have something new to show off.
Field of Hearts
Black BG with white stems and heart flowers.
I saw this design from LuvableNails at YouTube and thought that is was a great design. Perfect for Valentine’s Day or Forever Alone Day, whichever you prefer.
“A Pop of Pink” Black BG with Pink and White One-Stroke Flowers.
This is an attempt at the one stroke flowers but I still can’t the hang of it. Le sigh. More practice!!
